About Crista

Hi! I’m Crista. Lucky, I guess, is a good description.  My biggest passion in the world is inspiring the younger generations so that we make the world a better, more sustainable place. I get to work on awesome sustainability and marketing projects, with fab people - to try and make our world a happier, fairer and greener place. 

My past? Marketing, sustainability and travel industry junkie as a previous TTG Travel Leader and Edie Sustainability Leader Under The Age Of 30, and MSc Responsible Tourism grad.

But my most favourite hat has by far been that of building great communities focused around sustainability, with customers in big companies such as TUI and Heathrow, but especially with colleagues, friends and you lovely lot!

My proudest achievements? First and foremost, people. I’m proud to have mentored, managed and nurtured a few careers over the past few years, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing young people flourish and grow into the best versions of themselves. Second, you know how they say you can’t make sustainability a key message for big businesses? Well, during my jaunt at TUI, I was lucky enough to work with a fantastic group of colleagues and in the process, created  award-winning content that positioned sustainability as a key marketing message for TUI UK, reaching 4.5 million holiday-makers in the process. 

And as for education? Well, over the past few years I got to work on a sustainable travel education programme that reached 60,000 pupils across the UK.

Always and optimist. Always keen to learn, always keen to grow.
